The credit for the introduction of rural health care goes to Ajay Khandheria. He started this startup after nearly 25 years of experience in fields like telecom, telematics, healthcare. Their aim is to provide high-quality health services to the people of the village at an affordable rate. Under this, the first healthcare center started in April 2016 in Ghaziabad. This startup is headquartered in Gurugram.
When it comes to the availability of government health services, there is a huge difference in the availability of health services in urban and rural areas. Health centers in rural areas are not found far away.
As we know, medical science is an important part of the entire education system which is in a very worrying condition today, due to its declining level we are paying a heavy price. Today, in most areas of the country, good doctors and their colleagues do not want to go to the collapsing medical centers to provide healthcare.

The Population lives in villages-
About 14 percent of India's population lives in villages that suffer from poverty, malnutrition, filth, disease, and debt. If we look at the distribution of all the medical facilities available in India, then there is no link between the health facilities available in the cities and villages. It is necessary to look at the rural health facilities of the state as well as the rural health facilities of India. Prior to independence, rural health services in India were negligible. After independence, the government adopted a health policy. The rural population was mostly treated by rural physicians and indigenous doctors, but after independence, concerted efforts were made to set up primary health centers at the development level. Under the Third Five-Year Plan, 4631 primary health centers had been established in rural India.
Today, there are 136818 health sub-centers, 22991 primary health centers, and 2712 community health centers and more than 15500 hospitals in rural areas in India. Also, for the implementation of various disease eradication programs (malaria, measles, whooping cough, polio eradication, etc.), rural health workers were appointed, midwives were trained at the village level.
In 1909, a council was formed to promote medical education in the United States. The council requested the Carnegie Foundation to lead the task. Carnegie hired a school teacher and educationist Abraham Flexner to lead the survey. In 1910, Flexner submitted his report after surveying all 150 medical colleges. Their report reduced the number of colleges related to health education from 150 to 31, keeping in mind the necessary infrastructure.
Medical health training has probably become more urban. It has remained centered around the doctor and the investigation, who now has no desire to take care of the common man. The new doctors are now moving towards the city, their training is preparing them to work in cities and only in their field.
