Rural Education System In India and its objectives

Rural Education-

         In the field of rural education, the government has arranged for qualified teachers in rural areas who are serving their services in rural areas and providing education to rural students, but even today there is a lack of facilities in rural areas.

        The meaningful changes seen in rural areas are the result of the implementation of the Right to Education Act on the ground. This is the reason that almost all government schools have recorded an increase in enrollment. These figures are certainly encouraging, but it would not be appropriate to draw any conclusions about the reality of primary education in villages. 

        Enrollment in government schools due to the increase in the number of schools, appointment, and training of teachers, improvement in basic facilities like toilets and playgrounds and initiatives to bring children to school since the Right to Education Act-2009 Increased

          But even today the enrollment percentage of children in one-fourth of government schools is 60 and below. This includes children who are unable to go to school if they do not get the right to free and compulsory education, and whose families cannot bear the economic burden of education and who support elders in domestic and agricultural work in exchange for education.

          The logic of infrastructure of private schools, monitoring of teachers and dedicated management is not enough. It is sure that the parents of the children of private schools can afford education. That is, their social and cultural environment is helpful in teaching and learning at home. Children are gaining skills due to learning both at home and at school. On the other hand, private schools in villages are not as comfortable as urban private schools.

Basic Education-

            Education is a sun that shines its light on humans. And the rays emanating from this shine not only the family, society, country but the whole world. Education is a perfume inside human beings that keeps on smelling society with its fragrance. Education teaches us the highest style of living. It creates a good character in humans. Education makes full development of human beings. Educated human beings know their families easily. When a man attains higher education, then he is able to understand his obligation towards his family as well as society and country.

        The development of a country depends on its education system because literacy is an indicator for the measurement of economic development. India is a developing nation so its education system is higher than many other nations and therefore it is high time that we realize the importance of education and its role to make the youth of the nation. The word education itself is derived from the Latin word, meaning to bring up or nurture.

      Education includes training and instruction that will help a child to draw on his hidden talents and abilities. It opens the door to a modern and much broader world helping people to get a better outlook towards life. Since most of the Indian population lives in villages, education is important empowerment. The great leaders of India left a legacy for us on the importance of education. It is the most important tool for bringing social change.

Achievement of Children- 

          Today the world has gone to the moon, a human being can sit at home and talk in any corner of the world easily. Any person in the world can see and talk to him easily. News of the whole world is easily available through television, mobile, computer or newspaper. All these facilities have become available due to education.

Education in Agriculture-

          India is an agricultural country. 75 percent of its population is dependent on agriculture. Earlier humans used to work in this field themselves. Farming was done with the help of animals. Which used to take a lot of time.

        But now humans and animals are cultivated through machines, not working. Which saves a lot of time and gets the job done quickly. Agriculture has started in a scientific way, due to which there has been a revolutionary change in the field of agriculture. All this has been possible due to education.

Differences between rural education and urban areas-

   The urban areas have all the facilities and technology development. There is a big difference between rural and urban areas in all the conditions and it is necessary to make the difference so that people in rural areas get better facilities, which leads to a better lifestyle. Apart from this, it will help in improving the socio-economic development of the country.

Employment-

        Education plays an important role in providing employment. Poverty and unemployment in rural areas have suffered greatly. Educated youth from rural areas can earn for their families step by step to eradicate poverty.

Productivity Improvement-

    In the present scenario, India is moving towards industrialization and technological development. There have been many technological advances in the present world. These technologies also play an important role in creating this world and there is easy place to live in it.

Education Good Citizenship-

     Education provides individuals with an understanding of the present world and helps them to strengthen their critical abilities. This gives them the ability to make the right decisions for themselves as well as the community.

Education a major development-

      Education plays a major role in development. It improves a person's life using his educational experience. Therefore, education could not only help one person but also a field.     

       The government has made considerable efforts to raise the level of education and there remains a huge gap between the demand and supply of skilled employees.

New Integrated Education Scheme-

         The Central Government has prepared a new Integrated Education Scheme from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2020. The scheme consists of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Secondary Education Campaign and Teacher Education Campaign. 75 thousand crores have been sanctioned for this scheme. The goal of this scheme is to provide education, good education to all and help the states to provide education facilities from pre-nursery to 12th all over the country. The Integrated School Education Scheme focuses on improving the quality of school education by focusing on teachers and technology.

 Objectivess- 

        Talking about those who live below the poverty line, the government has made good arrangements for their children up to high school. Government schools have provided the facility of dress money, mid-day meal, satraps, cycles, etc.

       Its benefits are also seen. People are taking advantage of this. Those below the poverty line somehow get education up to high school. But after that, they do not get a higher education.

         Education status in India will not be fully strengthened only by the higher class of people being educated. To improve its status as a whole, people of all categories need to get higher education.

        Government and non-governmental organizations need to take concrete steps for this. We all need to be aware to improve the state of education in India.

        We all want to see our children moving towards success, which is possible only with good and proper education.  the benefits of education from childhood, so that they can focus on better education in the future. Promote the importance of essay writing, paragraph writing, debate participation in school or college for your children and students.

Vocational education-
        Not only a traditional course, but vocational programs also have the scope. The trend of choosing vocational field has increased in the last few years. The Delhi government has also started several special courses in ITI and polytechnics. Also, the demand for some of their old courses is also increasing every year. Only after 12th, students can improve their skills through these courses by choosing the program of their choice. After doing these courses, students also get a job soon, as well as a chance to start their work. These are professional programs that enhance students' field-based skills.
